REC, PFC Ink Pact To Finance 1320 MW Coal-fired Buxar Power Plant In Bihar

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) signed a Memorandum of Loan Agreement (MoA) with SJVN Thermal Private Ltd (STPL) to finance the 1,320 MW coal-based Buxar Thermal Power Plant (BTPP) in Bihar, even as its project cost increased by at least Rs 1,733 crore in over three years.

Asia’s Largest BioGas Plant Inaugurated In Sangrur, To Prevent Stubble Burning In 45,000 Acres

Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated Asia's largest Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant in Sangrur, Punjab.

The plant has been commissioned with a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) of Rs 220 crore by Verbio AG, one of Germany's leading Bio-energy companies.

India stood at 41 position out of 44 countries in 2022 with marginal improvement in its index value compared to 40th position out of 43 countries assessed on the Global Pension Index in 2021, shows the Mercer CFS Global Pension Index survey.

PM Modi unveils HTT-40 - indigenous trainer aircraft for IAF
